"David and his assistant came last Friday and my door was returned to me today - Monday!  David has a climate controlled room for spraying, so he worked all weekend on his orders, including my door.  He must never sleep!  By the way, you can follow the procedure for your door(s) on Excalibur’s Facebook page. I was very blessed to have been put in line a week after I called.  Today I found out that David has a great big job coming in addition to all of the regular orders.  If I had not gotten in line when I did, the wait could have been much longer.  For that I am sincerely grateful.  However, using Excalibur is worth the wait if you have to wait.  

 

David and Meleana Skinner are two of the most efficient business owners you could hope to deal with.  Marleana explained the process of refinishing my mahogany front door and the side panels in great detail so that I had a complete understanding.  She is patient, professional and amazing.  

 

David is a perfectionist.  When he came to remove my door and side panels he first made sure that the door could be hung properly as it was not hanging properly and he took time to make the appropriate adjustments.  This is a very important first step and he did this first so that this step could be easily accomplished upon returning the door.  David also adjusted the decorative dead bolt and the decorative regular thumb door handle so that it sits properly in the catch and the door locks properly with no effort.  It has never latched perfectly until David adjusted it.  David, like his wife, is amazing.

I will be going outside every thirty minutes to look at my newly refinished beautiful satin finished mahogany front door.  I chose the “coffee” finish.  It is perfect.  David brings all of the stain colors and all of the different varnish finishes (which have been applied on a large strip of mahogany wood) so that you can actually see what you will be getting. Excalibur will be maintaining my front door and I will be notified yearly, and if my door needs a “refresh” David will do this on site. David also explained that process to me.

No need to look anywhere else.  The price is fair and the job will be perfectly done.  I had my door refinished ten years ago and I was without my front door for almost a month.  Excalibur does not want you to be without your door for more than a week."
